I first met Randy Jonathan Beltran in Winter 2020 while finishing my dual bachelor’s at East-West University. It was winter break, and I was setting up the classroom when, out of nowhere, this handsome guy randomly strolls in and sits at the back like he owns the place. I asked a fellow TA, "Who’s the mystery man?" They casually replied, "Oh, that’s Randy. He’s just here to study. No big deal." The next day, while I’m elbow-deep in multimeters, I feel a poke on my arm—a sandwich. I turn around, and there’s Randy, holding out this sandwich like he’s offering me a sacred gift. "It’s vegan," he says, then just walks away. This weird sandwich drop-off keeps happening all week, with him saying nothing else, just delivering food like he’s in some bizarre, silent film. Finally, on the last day, he decides to break his silence, and we end up chatting until the entire school is empty. As I drop him off to his car, he awkwardly hands me his phone, without saying a word and avoiding any form of eye contact. I look down to see the ‘add contact’ screen open. I couldn't help but smile. This was the moment I knew I would love him forever, and just like that, our crazy story began.

We will be walking through the ceremony to ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident about their roles. This is a great time to familiarize yourself with the Cathedral, understand the flow of the service, and ask any questions. We kindly ask that everyone arrives on time so that we can begin promptly and finish in a timely manner. Your presence and participation are essential in making sure our wedding day is perfect. Join us for a warm and welcoming evening at Giordano's Pizza that is right across from Holy Name Cathedral. We will celebrate the eve of our wedding with delicious Chicago-style pizza. You will need to find street parking if you want to avoid the $100 parking fee of Holy Name Cathedral if you parked in their parking garage.
